City Theatres commemorates Atatürk with the play "Hello Child"

The City Theatres aims to convey not only the transformation of "Orphan Mustafa" into "Great Leader" but also the significance of childhood in a person's life, especially today, through a play rather than a traditional commemoration. Named after Atatürk, who sometimes addressed people of all ages as "child" in informal conversations, the play appeals to all audiences with the same sincerity.
The play was written by Gökhan Aktemur, the grandson of a grandfather who worked at the Atatürk Forest Farm, after extensive research. He was inspired by the fact that Atatürk's childhood, which shaped his character, genius, willpower and many other qualities, was poorly analyzed, despite the fact that almost every day, every hour of his military service, the War of Independence and the Republic period is documented in documents and books. The play, which was put on stage by the City Theatres with great excitement and dedication, with dramaturgy by the Dramaturgy Unit, music by Emrah Can Yaylı, choreography by Özge Midilli, set design by Barış Dinçel, costume design by Eylül Gürcan, lighting design by Osman Aktan, effects design by Emrah Can Yaylı, video design by Enes Altuğ Avşar and Seda Özel, and photography by Tuğçe Keçeci, stars Barış Çağatay Çakıroğlu, Can Alibeyoğlu, Can Tarakçı, Emre Can Karakurum, Emre Yılmaz, Gülsüm Alkan, Mert Aykul, Özgür Dereli, Şenay Bağ, and Zeynep Göktay Dilbaz.
